Black & White Camps are monthly, focused training days designed to go deeper than regular classes – exploring complete systems, decision-making, and long-term skill development.

Each camp stands alone, while contributing to a broader technical framework across the year. Bringing together passionate practitioners for immersive no-gi training camps designed to accelerate progress, sharpen skills and prepare you for competition at any level or those tough rounds on the training mat.

For the first time, you can gain direct access to the systems, drills, and strategy used by our top athletes. Led by Luke Chamberlain coach of one of the most successful Pro Teams in UK grappling and Carson Coles the team’s lead athlete.

We are starting our newest in-person competition training session – no invitation needed. It’s for hobbyists, and competitors looking to get the attention of competition training standard at Roger Gracie Bristol (widely regarded as the best competition training programme in the U.K.).

The 2026 Camp Series

– One Black & White Camp each month
– Each camp focuses on a specific theme within a wider technical framework
– Designed for adults and juniors (with age-appropriate structure)
– Open to all BJJ practitioners worldwide

Leg Locks: Part 1

This camp will take a first look into our leg locking system that has seen Carson pick up countless submission wins in 2025 over some of the best athletes in the UK in quick time.

We will start with developing an understanding of the fundamental principles that underly our system and determine successful outcomes when attacking legs.

Along with a focus on developing reliable entries into the most accessible leg entanglements. Allowing us to maintain control over a resisting opponent within the entanglement shutting down their escapes and counters.

Followed by working through the crucial breaking mechanics of both ankle lock and heel hook variations that force our opponents into submission.
